Job Summary
- The Physical Therapist is accountable for organizing and conducting medically prescribed physical therapy programs in the hospital, outpatient services and outreach sites to restore function and prevent disability.
- Helping patients reach his/her maximum performance and assume a place in society while learning to live within the limits of his/her capabilities.
- Performs all duties and responsibilities in such a way as to demonstrate and support the hospital's Catholic and Benedictine heritage and Avera co-sponsorship values of hospitality, compassion and stewardship.
- Provides care/service in accordance with regulatory and accrediting agencies standards and Catholic Religious Directives
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Master’s degree preferred
License/Certification/Registration
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of South Dakota
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire
Work Schedule
- Day/Evening Shifts, 8:00am-5:00pm; 72 hours every 2 weeks
- Occasional weekends and holidays
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
